DESCRIPTION:
Unknown, Massachusetts, 8 day, weight brass movement patent or banjo wall timepiece.
CONDITION:
Gilt and mahogany case in nice condition in an old finish. The gilding looks to now have a clear top coating. Both tablets are old, but probably replacements. Period painted dial is attached to the head with two screws and has some lifting and scattered loss. The figured mahogany veneer throat sides have some age cracking. Side tabs cast as part of the backplate are used to mount the movement in the case. Original hands.
